How to Make a Quick and Simple From-Scratch Vanilla Coffee Creamer Made With Real Ingredients for Everyday Coffee!
Hi! If youโve been following me for long youโll already know this, but for those who are new, welcome to Far From The Farm. Iโm Mona, the Brit behind the recipes, learning life and food in the States while sharing our debt-free journey and whatโs on the menu in our home today!
When I first moved from the UK to the US, one of the biggest little culture shocks was coffee creamer. Back home, milk was the default. Here, coffee creamers come in endless flavors, bottles, and seasonal releases.
Some smell incredible. Some taste good. Most are packed with ingredients I cannot pronounce.
That sent me down the rabbit hole of making our own.
This homemade vanilla coffee creamer is the one we come back to over and over again. It is simple, lightly sweet, and smooth without being overpowering. It does not mask the coffee. It just softens it in the best way.

I love that I can control the sweetness, choose dairy or dairy free milk depending on what we have, and make enough for the week in under ten minutes. It feels like a small thing, but little habits like this help us stretch our grocery budget without feeling deprived.
As a military family on baby step 2 of our debt free journey, every intentional choice to make things at home adds up. Skipping specialty creamers saves more than you might think over time.
And just a reminder that if you’re struggling and you need help with managing your budget or starting your own debt free journey then here’s some FREE resources below you may find helpful!
