How to Make a Simple Chipotle Mayo Burger Condiment in Just a Few Minutes That Elevates Your Homemade Burger Nights!
Hi! If youโve been following me for long youโll already know this, but for those who are new, welcome to Far From The Farm. Iโm Mona, the Brit behind the recipes, learning life and food in the States while sharing our debt-free journey and whatโs on the menu in our home today!
If I had to rank my favorite foods of all time, burgers would sit comfortably in my top three. Moving from the UK to the US, I was genuinely excited about the burger scene here.
I had visions of thick patties, toasted buns, incredible sauces, and those little extras that turn a good burger into a great one.
And honestly, I was not disappointed!
Some of the best burgers we have ever eaten have come from independent bars, food trucks, and small local spots. That is where the real magic happens.
And the relishes and sauces? Incredible. Tangy. Creamy. A little spicy. Always memorable.
The problem is that eating out has become expensive. Even a simple burger night adds up fast when you are feeding a family. So over time, I have worked hard to recreate those flavors at home so we can still enjoy the food we love without constantly reaching for our wallets.
This quick spicy burger relish came out of that effort.

My husband loves a bit of heat with his food, but not the kind that overwhelms everything else on the plate. He also loves that sharp little twang that mustard brings to a burger sauce. I wanted something creamy, punchy, and familiar, but with just enough kick to feel special.
This relish does exactly that.
It takes minutes to make, uses simple fridge staples, and turns a basic homemade burger into something that feels intentional and exciting. It is budget friendly, teen approved, and not overly spicy.
It also makes about 10 fluid ounces, which means those empty relish jars you normally toss are suddenly very useful again.
As a military family on baby step 2 of our debt free journey, every small swap like this matters. Making things at home more often has been one of the biggest ways we stretch our grocery budget without feeling deprived. Little sauces like this add flavor without adding stress or cost.
