Method
- Pour the dry mini farfalle pasta into the insert of your Instant Pot.
- Pour over the water, ensuring the pasta is fully covered.
- Gently press the pasta down into the water so most of it is submerged.
- Secure the lid and turn the valve to SEAL.
- Cook on HIGH pressure for:* 4 minutes for fully cooked pasta* 3 minutes for firmer pasta salad style pasta
- As soon as cooking finishes, carefully perform a QUICK RELEASE.
- Once the pressure pin drops, carefully open the lid and immediately stir the pasta to help prevent sticking.
- Drain using a colander.
- Serve immediately with butter, parmesan, Alfredo sauce, marinara, pesto, or your favorite pasta sauce.

- Mini farfalle is also known as mini bow tie pasta.
- Use enough water to fully cover the pasta before cooking.
- 4 minutes gives tender pasta for hot meals.
- 3 minutes works well for pasta salad.

- For pasta salad, cool completely before adding dressing.
